The 997 is now widely regarded as the Goldilocks of the water-cooled 911 — analog enough to feel pure, modern enough to live with, and proportioned in a way the larger 991 and 992 never quite replicated. The 997.2 is the one collectors are specifically chasing: direct fuel injection eliminated the intermediate shaft bearing issue of the 997.1, and in the C4S bumped output from 355 to 385 horsepower. With manual take rates collapsing after the introduction of PDK, genuine manual 997.2s have become difficult to find — and the .2 C4S cars were the first to appreciate.
This example is a 2010 997.2 Carrera 4S in Arctic Silver Metallic over black, six-speed manual, 15,929 miles from new, one owner throughout, with a complete Porsche dealer service history. Clean spec, flat dashboard, nothing superfluous. The mileage, the gearbox, and the paper trail are what matter — and all three are here.
