The 997 Turbo S was the final and finest expression of the 997 generation, and 2012 was its last year before the 991 arrived. Its 3.8 liter twin turbocharged flat six with variable turbine geometry produces 530 horsepower, delivered through the PDK transmission and all wheel drive for a 0 to 60 run in the high 2 second range. Porsche loaded the Turbo S with everything as standard: PCCB ceramic composite brakes, center lock RS Spyder wheels, Sport Chrono Package Turbo with dynamic engine mounts, PASM, Porsche Torque Vectoring, and adaptive sport seats. It is the 911 Turbo at its most analog scale and size, paired with thoroughly modern speed.
Slate Grey is one of Porsche's great heritage colors, and commissioning it in metallic through Paint to Sample (option code 99) on a 997 required patience, money, and a dealer willing to walk the order through Porsche Exclusive. The original owner paired it with the Exterior Package in painted exterior color and clear taillights, then carried the Exclusive theme inside: the PDK gear selector gate surround in leather, sport seat backrests in leather, center console in leather, the storage bin lid in leather with model logo, and the Porsche crest embossed on the headrests. A subtle, deeply considered specification on a car most buyers ordered in silver or black.
The 997 Turbo S occupies a sweet spot collectors have fully woken up to: the last Turbo of the classic 997 size, hydraulic steering, center lock wheels, and every performance option standard, in the final year of the generation. Add a documented Paint to Sample heritage color, a tasteful Exclusive leather interior, a clean Carfax, and honest miles that show the car was enjoyed the way Porsche intended, and you have one of the most distinctive 997 Turbos in the country.

I was recommended Strada Nera by a friend. They helped me sell my E46 M3. I was going to list it myself basically as is. It was an extremely well maintained car but Rob and Strada Nera helped me take car of all the things to present it super well that I would not have had time to take care of myself. They fully detailed and paint corrected the car, took care of a small tear in the interior, sourced oem side grills, took care of a couple things to tidy up the engine bay and more. All things like that the car needed to present properly. Rob is great at recommending what you should and can do to get top dollar for the car. They took professional photos and listed the car quickly and it sold quickly. Rob is great at proactively and continually communicating. I never once had to reach out to see what was going on, Rob was always super communicative and transparent. I ended up get a decent more in the sale price than I would have listing by myself. Great resource, great people, recommend.
