Porsche built exactly 1,963 examples of the 911 S/T worldwide — a number chosen deliberately to mark the year the original 911 was unveiled. That production ceiling alone places it in rare company, but the S/T's significance goes deeper than a number. It takes the 518-horsepower naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six from the GT3 RS — an engine that revs to 9,000 rpm — strips the track-focused aero, and pairs it exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive. The result is the lightest 992-generation 911 ever built, 70 pounds lighter than a GT3 Touring, constructed with CFRP body panels, a magnesium roof, magnesium wheels, and ceramic composite brakes as standard. It is the spiritual successor to the 911 R — a GT3 RS you can live with.
